ABOUT THE SHOW
Full Bloom: Cultivating Confidence is the Vision Resource Center’s annual fashion show fundraiser, starring blind and visually impaired individuals who are redefining beauty, independence, and self-expression.
This event celebrates personal growth, courage, and community. Every step on the runway represents resilience in bloom; nurtured by support, opportunity, and belief in one’s potential.
Proceeds from the event directly support programs that strengthen independence, combat isolation, and expand access for people with vision impairment in Cumberland County.
WHAT WILL YOU FIND
Guests will enjoy a runway presentation that tells the story of finding the courage to grow, highlighting the powerful and inspiring journeys of our VRC members.
The event will also feature local artwork for sale, with 20% of proceeds benefiting the Vision Resource Center. Drinks will be available for purchase, and guests will have opportunities to connect, engage, and celebrate community.
Each guest will also receive a copy of the Full Bloom Fashion Show Magazine, showcasing the participants, stories, and creativity behind this inspiring event.
THE FULL BLOOM FASHION SHOW MAGAZINE
The Full Bloom Fashion Show Magazine is the official companion to the Vision Resource Center’s signature event, designed to guide guests through the evening while celebrating the heart, mission, and artistry behind the show.
The magazine includes advertising placement opportunities, another meaningful way for local businesses, partners, and supporters to invest in the VRC’s mission and demonstrate their commitment to accessibility, empowerment, and community. CALL FOR ART
The Vision Resource Center invites local artists to participate in a one-day art showcase at our Full Bloom Fashion Show event. This is a unique opportunity to display and sell your artwork while supporting a meaningful cause.
Details for participating artists:

Application deadline: March 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM

Application Fee: $10 per submission (covers up to three pieces per application) Submission fees are non-refundable, even if work is not accepted.

Theme: Open/free, all ideas welcome.

Art Types Accepted: 2D and 3D art in all mediums.

Submission: Artists may submit up to 3 pieces per application

Selection: All artwork will be curated and selected by the VRC Fashion Show Committee. Due to space limitations, only 12 2D pieces will be accepted for display on easels only. Selected art will be announced on TUESDAY, MARCH 10 AT 4 PM via email.
