At the Vision Resource Center we create meaningful opportunities for connection, learning, and fun.
Our calendar is filled with activities designed to enrich the lives of children and adults who are blind or visually impaired. From social gatherings and wellness programs to recreational outings and educational workshops, each event is crafted to support independence, build community, and celebrate the abilities of our members.

Rides with VRC are $5 round trip (when calendar indicates), free for Angel Members. If you are using your own ride, please let us know in advance.

Event Description
Our crochet classes, led by VRC member Rebecca Rossell, who is also visually impaired, offer a welcoming space to learn and practice this creative craft. Classes provide an opportunity to enjoy the Vision Resource Center’s facilities too, including our walking trail, while spending time with others in the community.
Learning crochet improve fine motor skills, it helps to focus, reduce stress, and encourage creativity. Participants of all experience levels are welcome to join.
