We’re committed to making transportation easy, accessible, and reliable so that all our members can take full advantage of what VRC has to offer.
TRANSPORTATION SERVICE
The Vision Resource Center offers safe and reliable transportation for our members to ensure everyone can participate in our programs and events. Rides are available for $5 round trip for members, or free for Angel Members. Angel Members also receive one medical visit ride and one grocery store ride per month.
Our fleet includes a 15-seat bus and a 5-seat van, driven by our two official drivers, with all staff trained and ready to drive as needed. For every ride, we call two days in advance to confirm attendance and again on the day of the trip while en route.
Typically, for events, pickups begin about two hours before the start time, giving members plenty of time to arrive comfortably and enjoy the activity.
