 Give to the VRC MissionGive where your support is needed most. The mission of the Vision Resource Center of Cumberland County is to reduce isolation and encourage independence for youth and adults who are blind or visually impaired. We do this through social, instructional, and recreational programs; transportation; advocacy and leadership opportunities; technology support; community partnerships; and connecting individuals and families with valuable resources. |  Give to VRC on the MoveTransportation can be one of the biggest barriers to independence and participation for people experiencing vision loss. VRC provides affordable transportation that helps our members attend programs, run essential errands, get to medical appointments, shop for groceries, and access opportunities throughout our community. Our transportation services include local and out-of-town trips, as well as one-on-one assistance when additional support is needed. |  VRC Meals & HospitalityOur members, volunteers, guests, and community partners are at the heart of VRC. When they walk through our doors, we want them to feel welcomed and cared for. Our goal is to always have simple refreshments available, that can mean a snack and a bottle of water during a program or a stocked pantry that allows us to provide something extra when needed. |

 Give to VRC EssentialsEvery program, letter, calendar, application, outreach effort, and community connection requires everyday supplies behind the scenes. Paper, printer ink, envelopes, postage, cleaning products, office supplies, toiletries, and other essentials may seem small, but they are necessary to keep VRC operating and our community informed. |

Endowment
Endowment gifts generate annual earnings and help ensure the long-term financial stability of the Vision Resource Center. You may designate your gift to one of VRC’s existing endowment funds or contact our partner, Cumberland Community Foundation, at (910) 483-4449 ext. 103 to learn about establishing a named endowment to support VRC’s mission for generations to come.
