All donations, no matter the size, help to create a world with no limits for people who are blind or visually impaired. Most of our funding comes from individual donors, which is why your support is so vital!
Every gift provides independence, confidence, and opportunities for connection. Without support, many in our community would face isolation and limited access to essential resources.

VRC General Operating Fund – Annual Appeal
Annual gifts help close the gap between daily operating costs and program fees, ensuring that our services remain accessible to all.
Youth Programming
Support programming for children ages 0–13. (Currently, the state of North Carolina provides no support until age 14.) Your donations allow these children to experience opportunities, growth, and inclusion early in life.
Adult Programming
Your contribution provides transportation, funds assistive technologies, supports independent living skill classes, and sustains social activities that reduce isolation and depression.
Endowment
Endowment gifts generate annual earnings and ensure long-term stability for the VRC. You may designate your gift to the endowment or contact our partner, Cumberland Community Foundation (910) 483-4449 x 103, to establish your own named endowment for our garden.
Planned Giving
Bequests, trusts, and other planned gifts allow you to integrate your charitable interests into your estate and financial plans, ensuring lasting impact.
All gifts to the Vision Resource Center are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
